Amtrak, Cabs and more...

Logan County is a stop along the Amtrak route between St. Louis and Chicago.  There is a local cab service and a public bus service provided by SHOW BUS.


Communities Here in Logan County

Logan County is rich with history but is also full with many small farming communities.  Many of our communities lie along Old Route 66 and there are many visitor sites along the way right here in Logan County.  Come explore the trail that Abraham Lincoln made before he was President as he practiced law in Postville, Illinois. Postville was later named after Abraham Lincoln and was christened by Lincoln before he was President of the United States.

Camping and Parks Information

There are several large parks throughout Logan County including Edward Madigan State Park which has several miles of trails and chances to see the local wildlife.  We also offer many camping locations in Logan County.
