courthouse2The duty of the Logan County Court Advocate is to assist victims of domestic violence in obtaining emergency orders of protection, assist in explaining court process, provide emotional support, and provide shelter if needed.

 

Qualifying

To qualify, the order must be against:

  • My spouse
  • My former spouse
  • The parent of my child
  • We live together, or used to
  • My child(ren) or step child(ren)
  • My parent
  • A relative of mine by blood or marriage
  • Someone I was engaged to or dated
  • Personal assistant of someone who is disabled
