SealcoatThe Logan County Highway Department is responsible for the construction and maintenance of all the bridges and roads in the Logan County Highway System. In addition to constructing and maintaining the 166 miles of county highways and 52 bridges, the department assists the 17 townships of Logan County in the construction and maintenance of their 804 miles of highways and 147 bridges.

Any concerns (or compliments) about roads or bridges should be addressed to the appropriate agency. If on a Logan County Highway, forward the concern to the Logan County Highway Department. If on a township road, forward the concern to the appropriate road commissioner.

Directions

From Bloomington: Take I-55 exit #133. Turn left at STOP sign toward Lincoln. Turn left at LINCOLN sign. You will be on Kickapoo Street (Business I-55). Take Kickapoo Street clear through town. Go three blocks past the Courthouse and turn left on Wyatt Avenue. Turn right at next corner on to McLean Street. Our office is on the right side of the street.

From Springfield: Take I-55 exit #123. Follow Business I-55 to first STOP light. Turn right on 5th Street. Where 5th Street curves left, turn right on to Clinton Street. Turn right at next STOP sign on to Kickapoo Street. Go two blocks and turn left on Wyatt Avenue. Turn right at next corner on to McLean Street. Our office is on the right side of the street.

From Peoria: Take I-155 south. Merge on to I-55 south and take Exit #126. Turn left at STOP sign on to IL Route 10. Continue on IL Route 10 through Lincoln. After the Railroad Crossing, take a right at the next STOP light. This will be Kickapoo Street. Take Kickapoo Street through downtown. Go three blocks past the Courthouse and turn left on Wyatt Avenue. Turn right at next corner on to McLean Street. Our office is on the right side of the street.

From Decatur/Clinton: Take IL Route 121 or IL Route 10 to Lincoln. These two routes come together on Keokuk Street. At the first STOP light, take a left. This will be Kickapoo Street. Take Kickapoo Street through downtown. Go three blocks past the Courthouse and turn left on Wyatt Avenue. Turn right at next corner on to McLean Street. Our office is on the right side of the street.
