Public notice is hereby given that the Logan County Board will receive sealed bids to Remove and Replace the Existing Aviation Fuel System at the Logan County Airport, at 2:00 PM on MARCH 19, 2019.

The project shall be constructed in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications of the bidding documents prepared for the project.  The project is subject to Federal provisions, including but not limited to:

Buy American Preference

Foreign Trade Restriction

Davis-Bacon

Affirmative Action

Government-wide Debarment and Suspension

Government-wide Requirements for Drug-free Workplace

Requests for bidding documents, plans, specifications, and proposal forms will be filled for a fee by Springfield Reprographics, 1620 South 5^th Street, Springfield, Illinois 62703, Phone:  (217)523-4632, Fax: (217)544-6570.  Fees, shipping costs, and printing charges shall be payable to Springfield Reprographics.

Prequalification (required) shall be requested by the proposed bidders (to the Engineer) no later than 5:00 PM on MARCH 8, 2019.  Any bidder who submits a proposal without prior prequalification shall have the bid returned, unopened, or have the proposal unopened at the letting, with no exceptions.

Bids will be opened and publicly read at the Logan County Airport, 1351 Airport Road, Lincoln, Illinois 62656, at the date and times indicated above.

Bids forwarded by mail must be received at:  Logan County Airport, P.O. Box 39, Lincoln, IL 62656 ON or BEFORE MARCH 18, 2019.

Due to the extreme cold weather moving into the area this afternoon with wind chill temperatures in the -20 to -50 degree range expected, the Logan County Courthouse will be closed beginning at Noon today, Tuesday, January 29, 2019 and will tentatively reopen on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 8:30.
