$34,102.00 annually or commensurate with experience.

Health and Dental, retirement and deferred compensation plan.

Brief Job Description

Under the direct supervision of the Department’s Chief Probation Officer, the Probation Officer independently performs responsibilities including, but not limited to,

supervision and case management of adult probationers, writing pre-sentence investigations, maintain and update case files, supervise drug testing, home visits and field work, oral and written reports to the court, maintaining relationships with justice system partners, treatment providers, and other community resources.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree from a four year college or university with a degree in education, social service, psychology, sociology, criminal justice or other related human services degree.  Requires thorough knowledge of court system, social service agencies and related State statutes.

Additional Comments

Must meet all eligibility requirements set forth by the Administrative Offices of the Illinois Courts.

Administrative Assistant 


Greet clients, answer telephone, schedule appointments, prepare paperwork, filing, data entry and drug test clients. 

Strong computer skills are required and must have experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).

Hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 to 4:30.

Benefits include health and dental insurance, retirement and deferred compensation plan.

Must be able to pass a fingerprint background check and drug test.

Logan County Drug Court 

The Logan County Drug Court Program became operational in December 2010. The Program consists of long term treatment, intensive services, frequent drug testing, close supervision and immediate consequences for noncompliance. The goal is for the client to remain drug and alcohol free, to be a responsible individual and to be a productive and law-abiding member of the community.
